VFL Foundation Community Agreement

Session Attendance & Participation

Live sessions are the heart of VFL. Your presence shapes the experience — not just for you, but for the tutors and fellow students who show up alongside you.

• I understand that group sessions run on a set weekly schedule and that my tutors and fellow students are counting on consistent attendance.
• I understand that I may attend any scheduled group session with any VFL tutor, and I am encouraged to use multiple tutors and session times as my schedule allows.
• I understand that with 9+ live sessions available every week, VFL strongly encourages me to attend as many as my schedule allows — consistent attendance is what moves my score.
• I understand that Amy Rowe’s Sunday Strategy Sessions and the weekly office hours are included in my enrollment, and that pre-program onboarding sessions are offered the week before tutoring begins.
• I understand that session recordings are not included with Foundation. Recordings — including the recorded lecture library — are a benefit of VFL Accelerate and Elite.

Community Standards

• I understand that VFL sessions are professional learning environments. I agree to treat all tutors, staff, and fellow students with courtesy and respect.
• I understand that disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful behavior during sessions — including in chat, on camera, or in any VFL communication channel — may result in removal from the session or from the program without refund.
• I agree not to record, share, or redistribute VFL session content, materials, study guides, or recordings without explicit written permission from VFL.
• I understand that VFL tutors are actively practicing, licensed veterinary professionals volunteering their expertise around full clinical schedules. I agree to engage with them as colleagues and to keep any outside correspondence respectful of their time — responses may not be immediate.

VFL Community Spaces

• I understand that access to VFL’s online community spaces — the members’ area and any community channel VFL provides — is a benefit of my enrollment and is subject to the same standards of professionalism and respect that govern all VFL spaces.
• I agree not to share, upload, or distribute copyrighted materials — including but not limited to NAVLE® practice questions, third-party question banks, textbook content, or VFL proprietary materials — in any VFL community space.
• I understand that academic dishonesty of any kind is strictly prohibited, including sharing or soliciting actual NAVLE® exam content, questions, or answers.
• I agree to engage with all community members — tutors, staff, and fellow students — with respect. Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or hostile behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
• I understand that violations of community standards may result in removal from community spaces and, depending on severity, from the VFL program — without refund.

VFL Accelerate Community Agreement

Private Sessions — Scheduling & Cancellations

• I understand that my private 1:1 tutor session and my 2 private sessions with Learning Specialist Amy Rowe are scheduled directly with the tutor/specialist, and those times are held exclusively for me.
• I understand that cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance, and that late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the session.
• I understand that repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect my ability to continue private sessions with VFL.

VFL Elite Community Agreement

Private Tutoring — Scheduling & Cancellations

• I understand that my weekly private 1:1 sessions, my strategy sessions with Dr. Elizabeth Johnson Million, and my 4 sessions with Learning Specialist Amy Rowe are scheduled directly with each tutor/specialist, and those times are held exclusively for me.
• I understand that scheduling is flexible — my tutor and I find times that work for both of us. I understand that cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance, and that late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the session.
• I understand that I am expected to complete study assignments between sessions, and that my tutor’s weekly progress notes are part of my program record.
• I understand that if my enrollment is sponsored by an employer or institution, attendance reports may be shared with my sponsor.
• I understand that the recorded lecture library included with Elite is for my individual use only and may not be shared, redistributed, or screen-captured.

VFL Study Strategy (Starter & Complete) Session Agreement

What This Is (and Isn’t)

• I understand that Study Strategy Starter (2 sessions) and Complete (4 sessions) are private study-strategy sessions with Learning Specialist Amy Rowe, MSEd, and are open to anyone preparing for the NAVLE® — no VFL program enrollment required.
• I understand that Study Strategy purchases are not covered by a VFL PASS Guarantee and are non-refundable after purchase except as required by applicable law.

Scheduling & Cancellations

• I understand that sessions are scheduled directly with Amy Rowe and that session times are held exclusively for me.
• I understand that cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance, and that late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the session.
• I understand that sessions must be scheduled and completed within 6 months of purchase; unused sessions expire after that date.

Community Standards

• I understand that VFL sessions are professional learning environments. I agree to treat all tutors, staff, and fellow students with courtesy and respect.
• I understand that disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful behavior during sessions — including in chat, on camera, or in any VFL communication channel — may result in removal from the session or from the program without refund.
• I agree not to record, share, or redistribute VFL session content, materials, study guides, or recordings without explicit written permission from VFL.
• I understand that VFL tutors are actively practicing, licensed veterinary professionals volunteering their expertise around full clinical schedules. I agree to engage with them as colleagues and to keep any outside correspondence respectful of their time — responses may not be immediate.
